I can honestly say this is one FANTASTIC cooling pillow !!! The best part is that it truly works, and is not difficult to use (e.g. soak the insert).
This little gem is more effective and easier to use than the Chillow Pillow, and a fraction of the cost. I can highly recommend this to anyone who wants a cool pillow and/or who has hot flashes.

Great Cooling Pillow,

This cooling pillow is easy to use and works great. The size is just right for keeping next to my normal pillow. When a hotflash starts, I just roll over and lay my head on the Primley Pillow. The cooling effect is immediate and very refreshing. I would recommend this product to anyone who suffers from hot flashes/night sweats. As this pillow stays cooler than room temperature, it would also be great for Chillow users who enjoy the gently cooling of the Chillow but still need additional cooling during a hot flash.

I bought this for my son who likes to sleep with something cool. It is a perfect size, and does stay cool. It does feel a little damp, but it is perfect for what I was looking for. I've had it for a month and "freshened it up" by rinsing it twice. So far so good.

Definitely stays cooler than the surrounding air. Soaked up the water quick and plumped up thicker than I thought it would. Took a long time for material to be dry enough to use. Laid for 2 days on a folded over towel. Finally placed it on a paper bag to soak up the last bit of water. Mom doesn't really want to soak it again to plump it up b/c it took so long to dry. She only uses it when she's awake and won't put on bed b/c of the dampness.

Love, Love, Love this pillow! I purchased it over a year ago since my night sweats / hot flashes seem to love me so much, they have no intention of EVER leaving. This has been a life saver (or shall I say, a sleep saver). One reviewer who gave it 1 star said it was a soggy mess. Well, when it's in water for 2 hours to activate, it is indeed soggy but after letting the excess water drain from it and using a towel, it's fine. It stays cold for weeks! I've put mine in a ziplock freezer bag and I haven't had to submerse it in water for over a month now - yes, really. Try it...you'll like it.

Requires Daily Maintenance,

I purchased this hoping it would help cool down my nighttime hot flashes but ended up throwing out because I forgot to take it out of the plastic that I had to put it in to keep myself dry.
It's cool enough but you have to fill it with water and sleep on it. Forget about your hair if you use it on your pillow or inside your pillow case. I tried putting it in a giant zip lock bag which worked okay until I forgot about it and it mildewed. With daily maintenance it's ok but I wanted something that required less of my attention. I'm going to try one that's not fabric next time.

I bought this pillow thinking it would be a nice cooling device. I followed the directions and it's been 5 days since I activated the crystals with water. I have left it sitting flat on my countertop ever since, turning it over again and again waiting for it do dry. This thing is a soggy, sloshy, disgusting mess and it's slimy and sticky. There is absolutely no way I am putting this pillow anywhere near my bed. I wouldn't even call it a pillow. I would call it a cloth bag of wet tapioca. I keep getting an image of sleeping with a wad of stinking seaweed in my bed. I can't even stand to touch it with my hands.
There was no indication in the advertisement that this was going to be a drenched wet product. A moist washcloth works better and is practically free. As soon as it's dry enough, I am going to try to return it. Ugh! How gross!!!

I would highly recommend this lil pillow for any one who is going through menopause. I put it in the fidge in the morning and it stays cold all night. I put it in a cotton pillowcase. Nice and squishey so it conforms to my neck .

Maybe I just don't get it. I followed the instructions to the T, even used a measuring cup for the 6 cups of water. It soaked it up, but the approx 4 hours to dry on a towel was extreme wishful thinking. At first I thought maybe my humid climate was the reason it doesn't dry, but instructions state to keep a towel under it to prevent wetting your bedding. I can only assume after days it stays damp. This is just a lukewarm, clammy, creepy feel, and I don't want it in my bed near my pillows.Huge disappointment! I will continue to seek out a cool pillow solution but this was absolutely not it! Waste of money! Huge disappointment!

It's the best cooling pillow I've ever bought!,

I have bought three different kinds of cool down pillows and this is the best (and cheapest) I've ever bought. I have MAJOR hot flashes on my face and neck at night and it's been impossible to find something that will last more than an hour or two. I put this pillow in a zip lock back and keep it in the fridge all day. At night, I seal up the ziplock (I don't like the moisture) and put it on my pillow. It lasts 3-4 hours and it's very comfortable. I love mine so much that I am buying another one so I can rotate them out at night. Two of these are cheaper than one chillow - and the chillow only lasts me an hour before going warm. (To prevent the pillow from mildewing I suggest you keep the ziplock bag open when it's in the fridge.)
