5.0 out of 5 stars Sex speak &tutorial for 20ish young adults and professionals, August 7, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: The Hot Guide to Safer Sex: The Ideas You Want, the Information You Need to Keep It Sexy and Safe When You're "Doin the Deed" (Positively Sexual) (Paperback)
"The Hot Guide to Safer Sex" offers 20,30-somethings a fresh guide/tutorial/handbook on sex for the 21st century. Yvonne Fulbright turns the reader on to new ways to enjoy and explore sex and intimacy, while using protection. She comfortably walks you through the female/male anatomy and gives tips and "how-to's" on a number of methods to ensure pleasure for your and your partner. Fulbright also gives the skinny on all of the STI's that we should be knowledgeable of and provides consequences of unprotected sex, such as infertility, which young adults often forget. Fulbright receives my applause for writing such a well-composed, comfortable, relevant, easy to read, guide to safer sex. It's a delight. I laughed out loud on numerous occasions and often found myself saying, "really?"

5.0 out of 5 stars Guys, Take A Look, August 17, 2003
By
Jay (Washington, DC) - See all my reviews
I picked up the book after seeing it on my girlfriends coffee table and I couldn't put it down. The author doesn't get overly scientific and she knows what she's talking about. Finally, someone offers an understandable and accurate description of how the "g-spot" works. The chapter on drugs and sex was incredibly informative as well.

I highly recommend this book to any guy interested in receiving rave reviews from his partner, whether she's your long-term girlfriend or a one-night rendezvous.

5.0 out of 5 stars Guide to Sex for the 21st Century, August 17, 2003
By
Lindsey (New York, NY) - See all my reviews
The "Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex" for the 21st century, this book is an owner's manual for the sexually active young adult. The author offers a voguish and responsible perspective on a variety of topics ranging from fantasy and masturbation, to multiple male orgasms, to the effects that various drugs have on sexual health and performance.

This book is sure to enhance the sexual health, appetite and experiences of anyone who reads it. It is easy to see why Ms. Fulbright is fast becoming the voice of sexual health and education for Generation Y.
