This is a great book for knucklebusting hot guitar licks, especially in the American roots music/Telecaster style. I recommend this as a textbook for my guitar students.

This book has a lot of good ideas and licks. The lessons are written using both musical notes on a staff and tab. Roth does an excellent job explaining each lesson. I play in a cover band and have incorporated many of the licks from this book into my playing.
