Book Description

April 11, 2006
Victoria Gotti has become as famous for her cooking as she is for her fabulous media appearances. Here, she shares the secrets of her wonderful Italian meals, with more than 100 mouthwatering recipes. Hot Italian Dish - the author as well as the food! - will help you serve up tasty meals on any occasion: family reunions, birthday parties, entertaining friends, or the all-important ritual of Sunday dinner. For that is the essence of cooking for Gotti - bringing the family together with heart-warming, delicious meals made with tender loving care. Her meals encourage family unity, and will help gather your loved ones around for the kind of quality time that many people leave out of their fast-paced lives. Gotti shows that even the busiest modern woman (or man!) juggling the pressures of the workplace, home, and kids can prepare and cook homemade, healthy, and delicious meals that everyone will enjoy - and look fabulous and sexy while doing it.

Victoria Gotti is very thorough in the descriptions of all her recipes. She offers time management tips for preparing many of her dishes. Victoria also adds little personal stories between sections which are written in a heartfelt manner. This cookbook is a must for people who love to cook Italian food.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic :-), September 14, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I watched Victoria's show on A&E and I loved it. Because of that, I was interested in her book and I must say her book doesn't disappoint. Her pizza dough recipe (which I used to make garlic parmesan knots) turned out perfect (in fact better than the recipe I had used eons ago from Betty Crocker). Anyways, her book is entertaining and mouthwatering and I can't wait to try my next recipe from her (I think Sunday Gravy should be next). Ciao :-)

5.0 out of 5 stars Gotti's hot italian dish, is one hot italian feast!, June 9, 2006
This review is from: Hot Italian Dish: A Cookbook (Hardcover)
as a gourmet cook, there's not much a cookbook can teach me these days--but, I must say, Gotti has lots of traditional methods and recipes that make preparing the many dishes, taste just like grandma uses to make on Sundays! I bought six to give as gifts--that's how much I liked this book!....Chef Katie....
