I have the first edition of this book, and now the second edition. I love the variety of all the different types of kitchen collectables! It is so fun to see things you own through out the colorful pages. I especially like the advertisement photos.
This is one of the best comprehensive 30's to 50's collectable book because it not only has the kitchenware, but also linens, books, wall decor, baby items, and much, much more. I own approximately 41 different price guide books for this era. This by far is one of my most favorites! Definitely a must have for a collector!

Every book Dianne Zweig has done has been so informative and this one is no different. Gorgeous pics and very informative. Keep up the good work I look forward to more books from you.

I love this book of Dianne Zweig's. I waited patiently for this second edition and I am not disappointed. The pictures are pure eye candy. I love every page. Dianne is an expert in her field and all of her books are a valuable investment for research and just pure reading pleasure.

This book is wonderful! I have been looking at various kitchen collectible reference books and just recently purchased this one. I was hoping to find information on a cansiter set that I had come across. I did find the info as well as finding myself traveling down memory lane. I don't know how many times I thought "my mom" or "my grandma" had that! The pictures are done well and most of the items have a value connected to them. This book makes it easy to identify your finds while educating you on what to look for on your next hunt.

I can honestly say that I am eagerly waiting for next book to come out!

This book is well written and very comprehensive with incredible photo's for anyone who loves kitchen collectibles. I love that is shows advertisements of period kitchens. Her photo's of pristine collectibles are incredible. The book includes the usual glassware, dishes, kitchen gadgets, and pots and pans. But I was happy to find kitchen furniture, appliances, linens and potholders, kitchen toys, and even cookbooks, pamphlets, including Green Stamp books as well as home economics textbooks. I was surprised to find wrapping paper and cards. Also lots of baby items, and children's books. Basically everything you might find in a home during the 40's 50's and 60's. Lots of great tips for both collectors and dealers of these items.

An absolutely fantastic book that captures the spirit and essence of pre-modern times, before microwaves and fast food places when fun and functional items took up our kitchen spaces. The book if filled with eye candy collectibles and advertisements which compliment as well as enhance the featured products. For a beginning collector as well as advanced collector this feature is a bonus. Not only can we see each item, we can read about its key manufacturing features, we can see the original price, compare present day value range, and see why each item should or did appeal to the consumer. C. Dianne Zweig has done another outstanding job of giving those of us who are collectors one of the best value-added books on collecting around!

This is a wonderful book - great to look at, great to read - simply great. If you love vintage kitchen like I do, (authored MANY books on the vintage kitchen) then this book should join your library. Buy, read, enjoy!!! [...]
