The plot synopsis makes this book sound more confusing (and emo) than it is. It's half a psychological drama and half a business-political one. I'd give this book 2.5 stars if I could because while the plot isn't confusing, it also doesn't have a lot of sparkle to it. Also, two of the characters, while not legally underage, are very young and they get used badly. So my comfort factor was down, but not out.
The art, on the other hand, was very nice. Typical adult content for June books, pretty over explicit. This isn't a bad book, but I might be more charitable toward it because I bought it used. |
