Having been an avid Science Fiction reader for most of hislife, Darrell Fletcher decided to try his hand at the other side of the Literary Universe. After graduating High School and beginning College, he was lucky enough to win the Government lottery (a.k.a. the Draft). This turnof events actually worked out for the better.¿He enlisted in the Air Force, became an Avionics Repairman and got to spend a years paid 'vacation' in Thailand during the Vietnam War.
