Karen was best known for her disco era hits, but this lady could belt out a rock song that would rival Joplin in her heyday. This CD is a complete best of, featuring her club hits plus other songs. Sadly, according to the liner notes, she passed away. Even though her career path was up and down and up, the world is short one great singer!

great compilation for fans,

when I first saw this C.D. I knew that I had to type a review. Before I go any further, Karen Young is like cilantro. She is an acquired taste or you just like her from the start. This compilation may not be for everyone but if you are a fan you know that these songs are so hard to find. I use to love Detour, Dynamite, Expressway to your Heart,and You dont know what you got. Great nostalgia.
