Stink bugs: Every day we would see 2-4 new ones crawling around. Our house is all wood inside upstairs with a large cathedral ceiling. I set off six cans of Hot Shot No Mess Fogger in the house - six cans since our upstairs is such a large room. This fogger is not a gas, but a micro-fine powder that penetrates cracks well. The effect on our stink bugs was devastating as we saw when we returned 5 hours later. Wow, what an effect. On the floor was about 100 dead stink bugs. We swept them up but found that it still kept raining stink bugs throughout the day, though not as much. The next day Martha counted 36, then the next day about 5, then a few more, then none. There was a surprising effect. Outside were a hundred more dead stink bugs on the decks. I think that the way they were entering our house was through the sofet (sp?) vents. They crawled along the space over the insulation, and then penetrated the house through the cracks between wood. Since there was warmth on the house side of the insulation I think they decided to take up residence there. When the powder fog penetrated the cracks between the boards they were driven out and fell on the deck dead. That's my interpretation of what happened. For the last two weeks there have been zero stink bugs in our house.

So you've seen them, lurking in the corners, a glimpse as a basement light comes on, perhaps a corner web with an eight eyed monster perched in the middle of it. The garage is beginning to look like a tunnel from an Indiana Jones movie and heaven forbid you should take down that old tarp stored on the top shelf.

This is the stuff, murder in a can. It's easy, effective, works for a fair amount of time and results in you gleefully cackling in the shadows with a sinister gleam in your eye as you dispose of the bodies.

I use this stuff 3x's per year in a spider-infested area of the country-Oregon. I use more than the amount required and leave for the coast for two days...when I come back, there are dead EVERYTHINGS EVERYWHERE, hell, one time the stuff killed a mouse stuck in the garage. I use this along w/ an Ortho product around the door jams and baseboards. It leaves no residue and has serious penetration into sockets, vents, carpet edges you name it. It lasts for about 6 mos. but I use it 3x's per year. Safe for pilot light. Bugs carry disease and venom and SCREW THAT, I'm Not CAMPING...It's my house !!!!! use only one in a small garage because two will snuff out the pilot light.

I distinctly remember when I tried an alternate brand... after 2 hours I went in to air the place out and the fleas were all over me. This, from a fogger that claimed "kills fleas on contact." No, this is the only product I've found that works the way it says it will, does what it says it will do.

I have lived in my house for 10 years and have never seen bugs. All of a sudden, they started emerging from every crevices. I have a slight case of OCD so I immediately sprung into action. I contracted a technician to have my home sprayed and gelled. I also fogged the house, put down stations, put down my own gel in more places (bought from Amazon and it received great reviews), and wiped down everything with peppermint oil, cleanser, and bleach. When I came home after fogging, they were turned over on their backs!! I did see a few crawling after so I will do again but still, great to see! The box states to fog for four hours. I would let the fogger work for at least 6. The longer you can fumigate with all your windows and doors closed, the better!

FYI...I called my local pest control store and they stated that when I fumigated, I contaminated the gel. They said I am overdoing it. Well, I saw really good results from fogging so I will fog, wait a couple days then put fresh food down.

I had a nice little house without a bug problem except for ants. NONSTOP ants. Infested! They weren't just in the kitchen either. There were constant scouts in the bedrooms and bathrooms. Having a toddler son was like an all you can eat ant buffet. I tried boric drops and they were awesome. The ants would feast in a frenzy and then they would be gone...for a week maybe. I searched for the nest outside and couldn't find anything. I finally decided they must live under the house, cause they would just move around. Lemongrass spray worked great too, but the smell was overwhelming and they were back in a month.

I finally declared war and set these bombs off in every single room and left for the weekend. I expected to find a bug massacre in the house, but there was just a dead cricket...AND NO MORE ANTS!!!! For the first time I found nests in the driveway and the backyard. I promptly sprinkled them too. IT WAS WAR! I found dead spiders occasionally for the next several months, but no more ants.

I am now living in a house that is infested with spiders. It is war all over again and I am going into battle with this product as my weapon.

Happy bug killing!

This just doesn't work on cockroaches (even though it says on the box that it does). I had read a couple of reviews where people got less than sterling results on roaches, but figured I'd try it anyway.

The first time I fogged, I only used one can because it said on the box that one can covers up to 2,000 cu ft. But the "cu" for cubic was very, very small and I simply misread it and thought it meant square feet. And I had not read the instruction about shaking the can so I didn't do that. That night, roaches were crawling around in the kitchen as usual. As if nothing had changed in their little cockroach world!

So, I figured it was all my fault. I bought another box and on the second try I used 3 cans, strategically placed very close to the kitchen area where all the roaches show up. I opened all the cabinets, the dishwasher door - everything. And instead of letting it run for just 2 hours as I did the first time, this time I let it go for 6 hours.

But, SAME POOR RESULT! Not a bit of difference the second time around. That night roaches were crawling all over the kitchen, almost as if I had sprayed some kind of roach food into the area! There literally was no difference in the number of roaches. And now a week later, same. They're still everywhere.

Cave crickets beware. This is the only item that works in basements lucky enough to be shared with cave crickets. Well, share no more. I use 3 at once in three areas of my basement and they are gone for the entire cave cricket season. I am not sure what their season is, but they are gone. I tried a bunch of different types, even ones from this brand in the orange and other colored boxes, they just don’t work as well. It’s just so satisfying seeing the carcasses coloring the floor like polka dots. Here is some other useful info:
1. Does not have a heavy smell, almost odorless
2. Spray them overnight so no one is tempted to use the basement for a few hours or leave your house
3. No residue left on your contents
4. Does not stain walls or paint
5. Lasts a really long time
