This is my favorite album in the last three years. Every song is outstanding. Their vocal harmonies make me swoon. Their lyrics make me laugh or cry or dance or sing. Their melodies play in my mind all the time. Sometimes they remind me of the Roches, sometimes the Beatles, sometimes Joni Mitchell. If you like any of those musicians, you will love this album. I can't wait to see them live.

The luscious harmonies and sophisticated lyrics of "Soup Happens!" are as addictive as chocolate. I especially like the Hot Soup themesong and "Two Fine Friends," but the whole album is fun. I played it over and over when we first got it, and only reluctantly put myself on a diet after awhile, but I still nibble. Can't help myself.

The problem with this CD is that I can't just listen to it once--I find myself in the car listening over and over--and I hope there's no one in the car with me, cause I just HAVE to sing along. These three women bring the perfect combination of melodic voices, expressiveness, and great songs--from those that make you chuckle to those that tug at your heart. I'm told they have another recording in the works and I can hardly wait. BUY THIS ONE NOW--it'll be a treasured one.

These are three very talented musicians who sing and play well together. They are fun, talented and just plain good listening and good to look at!

Just love this CD, 'nuff said. Put this in your collection and your player's eject button will freeze. Am looking forward to more!

This group is great! I've heard them in person and the recording is wonderful. If you like to sing, you will find yourself singing along. The recording has songs of many moods, serious and funny, some old favorites, but mostly originals.

I don't actually own this CD, but I heard Hot Soup live sing several of the songs on this, and their performance was truly superb. Their tone, balance, originality, and harmonies were all first class.

We (my grandson and I) go anywhere Hot Soup is performing! And we play this album between appearances. I'll never forget the first time I took him to hear Hot Soup: he was at that scared stage and wouldn't even go into the auditorium-- sat at the door -- until Hot Soup came on stage, and before I knew it he had run into the auditorium, down the aisle and was on his way on to the stage when I caught up with him. Normally shy, he's the first one to join in any invitation to come down front and take part in the fun. Hot Soup is his first love!

You will sing along with the delightful lyrics - you will even chuckle with some of them. I never grow tired of listening to this CD. I am a teacher and find playing this during my breaks at school helps relieve the stress. Beautiful harmonies!
