This is definitely the best book for hot springing that I've ever seen. I was in NZ for half a year, and this book guided me to many amazing hot springs! Sally Jackson is an extremely gifted author and naturalist, and every sentence in the book is wisely written.

This book is the most complete listing of Hot Springs in New Zealand and would be a great companion on any travels in New Zealand as Sally lists both commercial and undeveloped springs with directions and advice. You would never be able to find many of these springs without this guide.
