4.0 out of 5 stars A favorite among my guilty pleasures, August 30, 2003
By A Customer
This one of a handful of films that I can either sit and watch with friends or let play in the background over and over again.
A cast built of (often underrated) character actors play a group of Florida cops learning the ropes of setting up a sting operation while they try to catch the criminials in the act of pawning hot goods. It a good hearted, often hilarious, entertaining bit of popcorn fluff to kill 90 minutes of time. Its a shame its not out on DVD....

5.0 out of 5 stars Funny Cop Movie, May 11, 2005
By Geoffrey Kidd (Berkeley, CA USA) - See all my reviews

This is one of the few movies I watched over and over in the theater without the humor, romance, or characters wearing thin. Everybody in this film did a good job, with just the right mix of dramatic tension and belly laughs. The chemistry between Pleshette and Reed was wonderful, and the ending (including a final superb touch!) had me on the floor.

Please, please please! Bring this one out on DVD.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the funniest and most entertaining films I have seen!, August 3, 2005
By R. M. Frank (Renton, WA) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I remember seeing this movie in the theater as a kid. Initially my dad took myself and my two brothers to see a different movie but it was no longer running when we got to the theater. One of the best movies I have seen that my parents had no intention of taking us to. Plenty of laughs! I too wish it was available on DVD. I keep hoping it will happen some day!
