Not enough art,

The art in this book was not like the art that you normally see on peoples nails... I bought this book and it gave a lot of information on the manicuring, but the thing I was hoping to find in it was nail art, and what I found was very dissapointing... So if you are looking for a book with lots of nail art ideas, this is the wrong book....

Good book for beginners looking for the basics of manicuring,

While this book has a lot of good, basic information on hand and nail care, it is all done in black and white. The only color photography appears on the front and back covers. Since it is a book on nail art, I would have hoped for directions, in color, for doing the nail art. For the price, it is still a good reference book for the beginning manicurist.
