5.0 out of 5 stars Greatest Hair Dryer
This is a great hair dryer and I would recommend this product to anyone. It is lightweight and really blows the air. There are three heat settings which is great and the cold shot botton works fantastic. The ability to turn the Ion on and off is an added bonus although I don't know why someone would want to. I have cut my hair time in the morning down to almost minutes...

3.0 out of 5 stars Nothing special
I can't understand all of the rave reviews for this dryer. I have been searching for a new hair dryer to replace a Conair (from drugstore) dryer I got about 10 years ago. It wasn't the typical drugstore Conair. It had a larger motor, was heavier than most dryers, but it dried hair quicker than others I tried at the time. It has started making strange noises, so I've...

5.0 out of 5 stars Greatest Hair Dryer, November 4, 2008
This is a great hair dryer and I would recommend this product to anyone. It is lightweight and really blows the air. There are three heat settings which is great and the cold shot botton works fantastic. The ability to turn the Ion on and off is an added bonus although I don't know why someone would want to. I have cut my hair time in the morning down to almost minutes compared to 30 to 40 minutes with a cheap dryer. This dryer handles well, dryes quick and gives great volume. Let me tell you to get volume on my fine hair and a smooth shiny hair salon look was worth every penny I paid for the dryer. I was told this dryer compared to Hot Shot... no way. I tried Hot Shot and took it back. This dryer is 100% better! Spend the extra money you won't be disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great light dryer, July 26, 2008

This review is from: Hot Tools Helix Lite 2200 featuring Nanosilver 1875 Watt Lightweight Dryer (Health and Beauty)
This is a great little hairdryer -- very lightweight but with all the features people want. It's not nearly as noisy as my previous dryers, and the heat settings are a very nice feature -- there are three settings instead of the usual two, so you can get cool air instead of only hot or really hot. You almost don't need the cool shot button. You can turn the ion setting on or off, which is another nice feature (not that I really know the difference between ionic and not). The lightness is what I like best -- I have very thick long hair and after a while of drying time, most dryers make my arm ache. It doesn't hurt that it's fairly spiffy looking, either. I can't imagine that anyone really needs silver for antibacterial qualities, but if it matters to you, this dryer has it.

This hairdryer is fantastic! It is lightweight, powerful, and fairly quiet.
My hair is long (mid-back) and the Helix dries it in 10 minutes or less. The hottest setting gets the job done, but I never feel like my head is burning. The finished product is amazing--my hair is smooth and shiny, and I don't even need to straighten it!

I've never been a believer that hairdryers made a difference...now I am. This dryer works great! Light, quick, no frizz, cool shot. Awesome!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Product, Very Practical, July 14, 2009

This is a nice dryer at a very good price. I have thick wavy hair. It works best (< 15 min) when I let my hair air-dry completely and then wet it just enough to let the dryer do its work at the medium setting. It does take a long time (1/2 hour) to dry when hair is fully wet.
Overall, I find this product to be very practical and cost-effective.

I have still not received the product! Contacted them after not receiving the dryer after two weeks and was told it would be resent. Still no dryer! I am a frequent shopper at Amazon and this has been a terrible experience. Plus, there is no one to speak with to resolve issues.

I am a Hair Stylist and have had trouble with previous hair dryers because they are too heavy. I bought this hair dryer as a gift to my sister and borrowed it one day....WELL, I just HAD to buy one for myself and I absolutely LOVE it! Best hair dryer ever!!!! It dries hair fast without the heaviness of a salon professional dryer. I definitely recommend to everyone!

I purchased this hairdryer after my Hot Tools hairdryer died after six years. This one is great, it has the temperature and speed settings I'm used to. The best part is that it's lightweight.
