Love the crimping iron, used in for dance competition (daughter). Got really hot, crimped fast, 4 sets of plates included. We used the 2" Crimping plates and it worked very well. I would recommend this item to any of our friends.

I bought this for my daughter who wanted both a crimper and a straightener. She absolutely loves it. Said it's the best straightener she's ever used, it glides through her hair, and I must say, she looks a lot different after using the crimper, so it works well too.

I think it is good product gets hot according other review, but my hair is thin & fine and this iron doesn't have temperature switch, so I need to be careful to hold not too long time. And I needed bigger wave crimping plate. I don't think I use this a lot.
