Love the crimping iron, used in for dance competition (daughter). Got really hot, crimped fast, 4 sets of plates included. We used the 2" Crimping plates and it worked very well. I would recommend this item to any of our friends.

I bought this for my daughter who wanted both a crimper and a straightener. She absolutely loves it. Said it's the best straightener she's ever used, it glides through her hair, and I must say, she looks a lot different after using the crimper, so it works well too.

I think it is good product gets hot according other review, but my hair is thin & fine and this iron doesn't have temperature switch, so I need to be careful to hold not too long time. And I needed bigger wave crimping plate. I don't think I use this a lot.

I have never been able to find a product that gets hot enough to actually work. Well this one does, and it's amazing!!!! Love it!!! Works better than awesome!!!

I have baby fine hair & just need a little body - this worked great! I haven't tried the straightener yet...

I purchased this as a gift and rated it so low not because of the product but because of the lousy way the product was packaged for shipment.
I paid a very high shipping charge and when I received the straightener I was really discusted as they had merely wrapped it in paper rather than take the time to put it in a box with some protective packing to protect it in shipment.
The straightners original packaging was all damaged and I had to explain to the recipient why it was.
I would highly recommend that you shop elsewhere for this straightener!

I bought this flat iron/crimper today at marshall's and it actually is really good.The flat iron glides through my hair with ease.It leaves my hair flat straight.I bought a chi heat protectant spray for 10 bucks and a hair moisturizer and it really help keep the frizz away.I love how it brings changeable plates so you can crimp or straighten your hair as well as different size plates that match your hair no matter the length.It brings a bag that you can put the different plates on and a glove that you can use to protect your hands while using it.Trust me you will need the glove because the outside of the plates gets rather hot.The only reason it gets four stars is because it doesn't have heat control(as far as i have noticed).I wanted to use it on my daughter but it gets way to hot for her hair.Otherwise its pretty good.
