This review is from: Hot Tools Helix Adjustawave Deep Waver Iron #2175 (Health and Beauty)
I have A LOT of coarse, hard to hold a curl, asian hair to about half way down my back. I wanted to achieve a defined wave. I have a Gold'N Hot waver and a Vidal Sassoon waver...which were given to me by different people. The vidal sassoon waver was terrible. The waves looked fizzy and ugly. The Gold'N Hot waver was better but I wanted a deeper wave and it looked too much like crimped hair.

This Hot Tools waver is great! It gets really hot and creates well defined waves. Although there are two settings, I only use the deep wave because the shallow wave looks too 80's (crimped hair). Its nice to have both options though. The shallow wave looks a lot like the waves created by the Gold'N Hot waver. I also love the fact that this tool can wave a good size amount of hair at one time. The other two wavers require small (1 inch) amounts to get a defined wave. The hot tools product allows me to wave more hair, thus quickening the process.

Overall, I would highly recommend this product. Hot Tools haven't failed me yet!

I have thick hair and it causes a little frizz, but I am still learning how to use it.
