5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT PRODUCT!
This hair dryer is especially perfect for naturally curly hair users. You can use the low settings and get a nice look without any frizz. The many air jets are essential for those with thick hair and you can have a dry head in about 15 minutes. The blower sets up quickly, is adjustable and very sturdy. I can't say enough about the quality of this product!

2.0 out of 5 stars Too small
Hot Tools Bonnet Dryer 4-heats 1200w
It should have stated in the ad the actual circumfrence. When I have rollers in my hair, which is the only time I would use it, the bonnet would not fit down over the rollers! It cost me over $20 shipping to receive it and then return it when I realized it was too small. Maybe if you have a very small head? I gave it two...

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Product!, January 11, 2008
I'm a not an expert on dryers in any way, but after doing research I found that this was one of best hair dryers on the market. I'm very happy with my purchase. Too much heat is never a good thing on anyone's hair. Even at its highest setting the heat is not too hot; or at least hot enough to make anyone uncomfortable. It's also fairly quiet, which is plus. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Retro Beauty Parlor Days, January 27, 2008
I absolutely love this dryer! My step-daughter and I have Beauty Parlor Day and she loves to look at magazines while her hair dries. I love the fact it will dry even the lower back of my head and is big enough for my large rollers. Closes up for storage! KUDOS!

I gave it two stars because it would probably work if it was larger.

1.0 out of 5 stars Too light, not adjustable, uncomfortable, April 16, 2009

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I bought this to do a little one's hair, as well as, my own. Many years ago, I had one similar (different brand)that was adjustable, so it could be placed on a table and one would not need to slope and slither down. We tried placing this with several different height chairs, stools, tables, to no avail. If it's uncomfortable for a four feet high child, I doubt it will work for most. Also, the air comes out one area seemingly, not evenly distributed. And, it feels as light as a toy. I intend to replace this ASAP. Waste of my $$. Not good for those with thick hair or African American hair either.

I read another customer review that recommended this dryer for curly hair and decided to give it a try. She was right. I love this dryer. I have long curly hair (hand-held dryers just take, too long and make my hair frizzy). This dryer doesn't get, too hot, even on the high setting and it works more like a large diffuser you'd put on the end of a hand-held dryer. I sit under it in the morning while I'm eating breakfast and checking e-mail. In about 5-10 minutes my hair is dry enough to leave for work. It's big but it folds easily to store in the closet. I wish I could take it with me when I travel!

5.0 out of 5 stars What a relief !!, November 16, 2008

I owned one of these, manufactured by GE, in the late 60's and early 70's. I have always regretting giving it away when hairstyles changed.
I've been looking for this style of dryer for over a year, and purchased this particular product after seeing the reviews posted on amazon.com.
This does precisely what it is supposed to do, does it in a timely manner, and I have nothing bad to say about the dryer.

I dampen my hair each morning to appply mousse or moisturizer, and I go to the gym. Wet hair outside, particularly in the winter is a no-no for me, and the gym has fans. It is easy for me to set up the dryer for a few minutes. It has two temps. I put it on a table and get a pillow to sit on (it is not adjustable, but I don't care). A few minutes of down time lets me read or prepare for the day. Easy to break down though I almost caught my finger the first time. Stick it in a corner and see you tomorrow. Works for me!

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Good Dryer, June 1, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Hand held dryers became a problem to hold, and salon dryers were often uncomfortable and noisy. This dryer is a perfect combination of good air flow, low noise, and is fully adjustable for comfortable use. Very happy with this choice.
