The flat iron doesn't get hot enough in my opinion, and the surface area is too small. It should be recommended for people with thin or short hair only. They dryer is okay, but I expected a lot more from the online description. The bag is cheap and I could have definitely done without it. All in all I was a bit disappointed with the product because I expected more from the brand's reputation.

Buying over the internet can be a very hard experience, but Hairnet made it great. I had to return my purchase as it was defective, but they sent me a return postage paid return label and refunded my money in full as I had to purchase elsewhere as my daughter moved and needed immediately. Their customer service is one of the best I have seen in a long time.

this was my first flat iron. since then, i've learned a lot about my hair, straightening, and hair tools and products. The hairdryer was fine. I was happy with the flat iron at first, but never acheived the results I really wanted. I was only happy b/c I didn't know better. Now, I will only use Chi flat irons. I know it sounds snobby, but it is completely worth the extra money!

Bought this as a gift for a niece heading away to college. She tells me she loves it. The packaging makes for a very impressive presentation as a gift.
