My 5 and 6 year old love this game. They have unlocked a lot of the unlockables and can also play head to head. No real violence is included (they can "shoot" stuff at other cars, but they just bounce around).

I have played it with the kids and it is fun. It is not too easy for an adult, as evidenced by the fact that I have been gaming for 20 some odd years and I need to build up some skill to compete with them.

For what it's worth, Mario Kart Wii was reported as one of the best games for the Wii. My kids play this far more than that.

My computer is less than a year old. I was able to install the game, but it never did work. My son was very disappointed! The website for tech support listed on the back of the game is useless. I emailed the company using the "email support" address listed on the back of the game. They sent me an automated email. "Please note: Activision Customer Support no longer accepts emails or faxes." The email referred me to another useless web address. Target won't issue refunds on opened software, regardless of the circumstances. And I still have a very disappointed 4 year old boy.
