I purchased this bike because I read so many nice reviews on another website. The bike is well-built, the seat is adjustable and it looks awesome. My son flipped when he saw it on Christmas Day. Only thing: the rear axle makes noise when he coasts. I called customer service (the number and website are on the manual) and they told me it's probably a bearing issue. I was really afraid that they were going to tell me to ship it back but they didn't, they were willing to send out the replacement part free of charge. Plus, I needed a black one but they were backordered, so they ordered me a silver one in the meantime until the black ones are in stock, and then they'll ship the black one. They won't cover the labor to replace it, of course, but that still beats having to send it back. I've read so many nice reviews of this bike that I think I just got one of those one in a million bad parts, but be advised. Other than this little snafu it's really a very nice bike.

I am very pleased with this purchase. It shipped promptly and arrived neatly and had all parts. It was very easy to assemble. Looks very cool, and my son thoroughly enjoys it.

We bought this bike for our son's 6th birthday. He saw this bike in the store and loved it. It looks super cool and he loves the "motor" sound from the handle bar gear. It was easy to put together. I did it myself in about 25 minutes. The hardest part was inserting the handle bars. I used a hammer to pound it in. :-}

I bought this bike for my 5 year old son. He absolutely loves it. He can twist the right handle and it makes an engine revving sound. It has a foot brake and a brake lever on the left side of the handlebar. The hand brake is still a bit difficult for him to grab and squeeze at the moment. With the adjustable seat height and handlebar height, and removable training wheels, this bike should last him at least a couple of years.

The one thing I did not like was the poorly written instruction manual for putting this bike together.

We bought this for our son's fourth birthday and it's a great little bike. I'm not sure if I would buy it again after having to try and slog thru the instructions to assemble it, especially when you can get comparable bikes already professionally assembled in most stores these days. But after some help from my brother I was able to get it all put together, and it looks like it will hold up to the abuse it's bound to get until he's ready to move up to the next size.

My son got this bike at the age of 4 1/2. He races the bike in mountain bike races and loves it. We wanted a bike that he would be able to have a handle break when he was developmentally ready for it. The break lever did break off after a year and the revving of the hand piece gets annoying too, but that can be stopped by the child. He still does not use the hand break yet, but pedaling back works great.

Awesome bike for lucky little boys who get one! They can "rev" the engine and show off, it is well constructed and handles easily for beginners. My 4 year old son is the only one in the neighborhood with one, and he likes the attention he gets from the bigger kids. We have had problems with the use of the handbrake vs. the foot brake, but I think given another season of bike riding he will have it all figured out.
