Truck stamped 2012 on the metal undercarriage but released in 2013 as part of the Pop Culture promotion by Hot Wheels. There was a second orange smaller truck with storage crate on the back but it wasn't as good as this one. In earlier years Hot Wheels also released a Back in Black album ute (Ford Ranchero), and a van. This is a really nice semi trailer truck and easily the best of all four vehicles. It is also the most expensive and hardest to find of the four on online auction sites. It's a lot heavier than your usual 1/64 scale vehicle as a truck would be to a car in real life. On the side of the cab's sleeping area is a nice photo of Angus Young shirtless with a red guitar and I think Brian Johnson (lead singer) but to be honest the photo of him isn't the clearest. Not sure if there's a different image on the side that you can't see through the blister pack as this cost a bit much to justify taking it out (these weren't released in Australia, which is stupid being ACDC are an Australian band), but that seems to be the norm with most of Hot Wheels Pop Culture range. On the back is the ACDC word logo (the same as on the blister card) and there's also a really small one on the front bonnet (hood). Also on the bonnet is an arrow thin flame racing stripe, behind the visible engine on the sides are similar stripes. This vehicle has red rimmed tyres with tread. I love the front of the truck, it sort of suits the 70's Melbourne look of ACDC's arriving on the music scene era.

If you do a search you will also find 1/64 vehicles by Kiss, Elvis, Guns N' Roses, Beatles, Monkees, Led Zepplin, Iron Maiden some also by Hot Wheels, others by Johnny Lightning. It's a shame die-cast vehicle manufacturers don't release more iconic band themed artwork on 1/64 vehicles.
