Santa brought this for my son for Christmas. He's 8 and wanted to get himself up for school. We tried a cheap clock, but he lost interest in it because let's face it, at this age...they still look at things as a toy. We decided to get this clock because it looked fun and it is! He obsesses over the thing. It has a volume control, but he likes his LOUD. It talks to them and tells them "Let's get going, time to start the day" and then honks the horn and screeches the tires. If that's too obnoxious for some, no worries...it also has the radio feature as well as the standard alarm sound. You won't be disappointed!

This is really a cute and functional Hot Wheels Scrrechin(tm) Projection Alarm Clock Radio - HW805 Alarm Clock for a young boy. The Radio plays fairly well and the whole concept of the design is excellent. Wouldn't mind having one myself. The only thing that doesn't work correctly is the Time Projection is upside down unless (to be read) it is aimed at the wall across the room . Most of these kinds of clocks project directly to the ceiling above it... Otherwise it's a great novelty kids clock (liked it so much, I bought two).

Item was in great quality but was shipped in less than decent packaging. This wasn't bought directly from Amazon so this is not at all the fault. The Alarm clock is great and my son loves all the options and radio features with this. If you can find this for cheap a really good buy.

My son loves this alarm clock as well as I, but we were both extremely disappointed when the projector wouldn't work since day one. Not sure why either. I would have returned it, but we are in such need for an alarm clock that I haven't done it yet. Would have given more stars if it worked 100%.
