well my son has a load of about 50 track peices and other sets that he combined and he makes things really cool then! so this to will be usfull if u can go to walmart of target and pike up a 10 track peice for only 2 dollars. And besides u have to make it fun!

This toy is great fun. It does take time to set up, and most likely involves a parent if your child is under 7, but it's cool to watch the tricks and makes for a great lesson in cause and effect. Box that the toy came in is huge, so buy a lot of wrapping paper if you give it as a gift... and expect a higher shipping cost.

My 3-year-old son loves this set; it was given to us by my Uncle (second hand) six months ago and he hasn't stopped playing with it yet. It sits fully assembled in his bedroom, and is reconfigured on a daily basis. It can be a little tricky for my toddler to get the tracks together (no pun intended), but he has no problem setting up all the stunts. We showed him once how to pull the levers to set the cars up and start the chain reaction...now he's running the show and impressing us with his "colossal stunts"!

fraction of a second of fun after long set up. Stupid toy.
In theory, a Rube Goldberg-type toy would be cool to watch. That MAY be true if the action lasts for more than a fraction of a second. Read more
