Growing up, I never liked Hot Wheels. But my boyfriend and I rented this game one week and I made him buy it for me after we returned it. I haven't been able to put it down.

The controls are easy to use and master (important for me-I have trouble in most games because of this). And the music! One of the songs is from Primas. The only problem I have found is that when you "sign-in" anything that person finds - mystery cars and tracks - stays with that person. So, unless I want to play as my boyfriend, I can't use the cars he's won. Bummer 'cause some of the cars look really cool.

Anyway, its a great fun game to play. That seems to be rare now. You know, once you beat it, its not any fun anymore. its refreshing to see a game that should be enjoyable no matter how many times you play.

This is an excellent racing game suitable for all levels and age groups. The speed and physics are dizzying (you can drive upside down in some areas, if you want), the race tracks are colorful and exciting. There are many secret passages and hidden cars to unlock on each course. Unlike some of the more serious racing simulation games, these cars are easy to control even for beginners and it's not hard at all to learn how to do stunts. This game is all about having fun. I didn't think I would ever find a racing game that I liked as much as Beetle Adventure Racing, but Hot Wheels is definitely the one! I think Electronic Arts has done a fine job with both Beetle Adventure Racing and Hot Wheels and I highly recommend both games to racing enthusiasts who want to have a whole lot of fun for hours on end.

Really cool. I have done all the tracks at least 10 times each and I've only had this game for a couple months. Highly recommend.

My kids love the game. It's clean, (no barely dressed women, violence, etc). Some of the track looks like you are driving on actual hot wheels track. Over 40 cars available to unlock, so increases re-playability.

Look at the title of my review. It says it all.

Car Variety is beyond me. I've never seen so many vehicles in one game!
Unlocking them, now thats another story. You can unlock them in races, codes (for you cheaters....Okay I did it too when I couldn't save :( ) and finding them hidden in maps.

Graphics can be bland, but they can also be memorable, like to me.

Map variety is short, but memorable as well.

I picked this up for free pretty much, I didnt know what to expect. I liked the PC and GBC versions, but this one has gone a completly different way. It only has one veiw, from behind. It would have been so much better to have a top view(sky cam) or veiw from the side like in Hot Wheels Stunt Something that are on GB and PC and probably every other platform. The one veiw is just no good.

It's not at all hard to play. But it's got no real challenge to it, the graphics may be better then the side angled other version of Hot Wheels games, but this one being from behind and all, it is not as much fun.

This game would be great for kids under 13, especiely under 6.. the controls are ok I guess, the graphics arnt so bad but could have been a lot better, the commentry is annoying till you turn it down.

Buy it for the kids maybe, but anyone into a real race game will find it's lack of reply value disapointing.

When I was taking this game to the checkout line I anticipated a great classic on par with F Zero X but what I got was a complete waste of money.Talk about a disaster this game was just like one huge train wreck.Not fun at all and the graphics are some of the ugliest most bland landscapes Ive ever seen.This game is an insult to the N64.Instead get Ocarina Of Time,Perfect Dark,Super Smash Bros or F Zero X.Pass on this.

This game is awesome. it defently desnt beat games like mario kart 64 or double dash (best racing game ever) but it is preety fun. here are some pros and cons of the game
PROS:easy controls, fun (of course) C-pad helps a lot
CONS:Way too easy,1 course is screwed, not enough courses to earn
ok, let me talk about the messed up course: your playing this course. its like all the other courses (easy but fun) but then when u complete a lap it doesnt count it. im not sure if there was something wrong with my game or if there was a programming error but it makes that course absolutley HORRIBLE!
if u get stuck on this game (if u do its kind of sad) go to cheatcc.com and they will give u a code to unlock every course and car. (yes there are cars to unlock and yes there are A LOT of cars to unlock) u get cars by 1) finding them in courses and 2) youll have to find numeral dos on your own (if your wondering why i went on cheatcc.com to beat a game that i said was totally easy dont think that i cheated. after i beat the game -in 1 weekend -i erased the data off my controller pack to give my brother a shot. unfortantly he only found 1 car and unlocked none of the 2 courses to unlock so he got kind of frustrated.)
overall, this game isnt a MUST-BUY but it is a good game and i didnt regret that i spent 40 bucks on it. now of course its much cheaper so its a good buy not great but good.

The game arrived within a couple of days of order and it was in good condition. My kids love it!
