I and my boys (ages 4-6) absolutely love the series of Hot Wheels Trick Tracks. We have the Drop Tower, Hammer and Hoop, ZigZag Slide as well as a minor accessory or two. (Including a five car launcher that can connect to the sets.)

This is a great set and lots of fun. When a car hits the base of the tower (pushed to it or from another set), then the second car zigzags down a long crooked slope and hits the trigger for the mini slide. The mini slide holding the third car vertically flips to angle down and the third car zooms down the slide and speeds along the orange track (on to your next trick if you have another set attached there.)

The ability to rearrange for a different sequence of events, the resulting cause and effect, the durability, being kid and momentum powered instead of needing batteries, and then the fact that they all fold up and magically fit back into the box makes these one of the best toy sets the boys have.

I say... magically fold back up and FIT INTO THE BOX.... That is where I am having trouble with this particular set. For the life of me I can't figure out how to get both main parts (not worried about the orange tracks) back into the box at the same time.

I have read the instruction manual backwards and forwards, looked all over the pictures on the outside of the box, been all over the internet and the Mattel website looking for a photo or instructions to get this set back in the box and even went as far as calling and talking to a Mattel consumer representative. I still have no solution to my problem.

Moral of the story: When you first open your box of any Trick Tracks, photograph the pieces still in the box so you can remember how they go back in!

It's a fun toy but don't get ripped off. Go to walmart and save a bunch.
