I've been listing to hip hop since 1987. I was a professional DJ in the early '90s and opened for Swollen Members, Zion I, Lootpack, Zion I, Pharcyde, etc. I have a vinyl collection of 5,000 records - everything from Da King & I, Nas, Kwest The Madd Ladd, The Nonce to Lil Kim and 50 Cent. I have always gravitated towards underground and less mainstream rap but this album caught my ear immediately. The lyrics and production are literally a 9.5/10 for me. There's something about it that reminds me of the golden era. Seriously, the album is amazing from front to back...
