I am a collector of all types of music but I especially love lounge, acid jazz, jazz and chill sounds. This CD is a great low-key, ambient mix that offers excellent background music without being overwhelming, uptempo or extreme. It does have a bit of a romantic flair but not so much where you get melancholy or in the mood for love listening to it....all together really nice vibe-in compilation that you can use in a mellow, laid back forum or not.....I LOVED it and I plan on buying it for many folks I know to get hooked on as well - I also look forward to checking out more compilations from Sunswept Music!

Hotel D'Amour is definitely music to listen to with your amour. It is conducive to all sorts of lovely interaction between you and your partner. It lacks that awful repeptive drumming that is often heard in the techno genre and instead your actually listening to music. Beautiful vocals, lovely melodic flavour accented largely with real percussion. It is rhythmical, yet smooth and sexy. Good stuff. Highly recommend it.

I wish it was as easy to find similar cds out there with a variety or artists. This cd definitely mixes my musical taste in down-tempo, chill, jazz infused tracks that make me reminisce of Europe. It flows very well from track to track without completely falling out of its balance within the same category of music styles. I highly recommend this cd for any mood you might be in or are seeking to get into.
