I lost my original sandisk cable and bought a wall/car charger that came with a cable.... It charged but only transfered 20% of the time.

This cord WORKS it is ridiculously cheap! Even with the cheap shipping. I should have ordered more.

It was black, not white :)

It works great, the seller Eforcity shipped out the same day, item arrived in good condition. It is high quality, can actually do transfers and charging at the same time and is at a great valued price.

I've tried this cable on four different computers -- one running Windows XP, one Vista, one Windows 7, and even under Ubuntu 9.04 -- and the cable does not sync, period. Each computer says the device has malfunctioned and is unusable.

I borrowed a friend's SanDisk-brand cable and it works fine on the same computers.

A visual comparison of the two cables reveals that the name-brand SanDisk cable has all 30 pins installed in the dock connector, whereas the cable I bought from these guys has only about a half-dozen pins.

Not recommended. Spend a few more bucks and get a real cable. I'm not going to bother returning it because it was only $3.

I bought new Sansa e280 during thanksgiving sale, and after 3 months the original cable malfunctioned, I wanted to return it but because of 90 day return back policy I couldn't. Then I found this Data / Charger cable and ordered it for virtually no cost :p
This works as original one and I am very happy that my return policy was expired :)
And an extra point goes to Black color instead of White as shown on the website.

Bought for Sansa E-280, works perfectly. Syncs fine w/my Napster.

One of the low-star reviews ridicules the packaging. If you're in the market for packaging, buy a box. The reviewer didn't even comment on the performance! Maybe a Sansa employee scaring you into paying more?

The other rating says it didn't sync- mine synced fine with the same program (Napster) as my original cord.

It's cheap (one-star reviewer was right- nothing like the picture, and obviously trying to look like a real Sansa product- it's called cheap marketing!), it works great for a great price, you be the judge!

Well, I got a cable that didn't work. Couldn't sync, or even charge with it. But then again, I paid a penny for it. No biggie. The seller though was quick and the item got to my house in no time. I'd recommend the seller any day, but I guess I just one bad cable out of the bunch. No biggie. It seems as though most people have gotten working cables, so thats good, if your really in need of a cable, you cant argue with plopping down 2 bucks total with shipping, right? I just had bad luck. Oh well.

This product was exactly what we needed. My daughter lost her's and we checked the Sandisk site. They said you can only order this particular cord thru them. Called numerous electronic places and they all pointed me to the web. Seems iPod has the market on accessories in stores. This Sandisk takes a different cord size than iPod's. She found this one, we ordered it, and voila! It is exactly what was needed! So Sandisk was wrong. They evidently are just trying to get you to order parts thru them. So glad we found this one here! Cord was black, not white. She was glad since the one lost was black, also. Very good product! Works perfect with her e250R..!:-D

I bought this due to the price and glad I did not spend more. I have used this on 3 different Sansa's I got from a WootOff and it works great with no issues. Fits fine and each device works as it should.
If you need a new cable I suggest getting this one.

I have bought two of these cords and will not buy another. Both times the part that connects to the Sansa has separated from the cord with very light use. It also stopped syncing with the computer but would still charge the Sansa. For just a few bucks this might be a nice backup to have but they just don't last very long. For about five dollars more you can buy a better cord.

Using it with a Sansa C240. The connector connects. The plug plugs. It charges. It transfers data. It doesn't feel cheap, but it was cheap. That's all I could ask for in a cable.
