It was nice to find this--still is the proprietary cable nonsense but is all in one piece so you're less likely to lose one part and be totally messed up. And the price is right! For this little bit, I can keep one at work and one at home.

Small warning--this has sides that you have to squeeze to release it from the Zen. The original cable does not have that--threw me off when I first tried to take it off--I thought it had jammed in place.

It works flawlessly and appear solid, of good quality. You can charge the Zen Vision M and transfer the data simultaneously. And you do not have to buy two cables for doing the two things. So far, I have no problem with it.

I bought this cable from BargainCel via Amazon when I lost the adaptor on the bottom of my Vision M: 30Gb mp3 player. I was worried about whether it would both sync and charge the Vision M: when I read some earlier reviews. But the price from BargainCel ($0.07 + ~$2.98 shipping) made it worth a try.

I was delighted to find that the cable both charges and syncs my Vision M: about the same as the original cable + adapter did.

The transaction with BargainCel was efficient and delivery was quite fast.

Overall, I highly recommend this cable as a replacement sync and charging cable for the Vision M: player.

I still have a 60GB Zen Vision M and use it on the road a lot. I wanted some spare cables to charge and synch it from my laptop.

This $3 cable charges the Vision, but it is not recognized from either my laptop or desktop.

So for $3 you get a charging cable, but don't expect to be able to synch or download item to your Vision M

The cable works well except for the fact that as soon as i plug it in my wireless internet adapter stops working. Creative Mediasource does not recognize my Zen when it is plugged in.

The syncing seems to be hit or miss on different computers. For my netbook, the sync function seems to work great. The charging function, however, is not quite what I was thinking. I cannot seem to get it to charge with anything other than a computer USB port; it does not seem to want to charge with an automobile USB charger. That's the main reason I bought it, so I can charge my Vision M without the dongle. Oh well, will keep looking.

I was originally skeptical when I saw that this sold for less than $2. The original replacement part from Creative sells for $29! This does every bit as good a job and is top-notch quality. Why pay more when this does it all?

I wish I had known that this cable existed when I first got my Creative Zen Vision M. The original equipment included with the Zen involved plugging an adapter into the bottom of the unit, and then plugging a cable from the adapter to whatever device to which you want to connect. So that just meant the user had one more possible piece to misplace. But now with this new cable, I have one less piece to connect and one less piece to lose. Also, I'm usually not one who cares a great deal about aesthetics, but the white color is quite pleasing.

No computer will recognize Creative Zen Vision M 60g through this cable. It charges the device just fine though. I read somewhere that the knockoff cables, like this one, have a pin wired differently or something of that nature. The price was right. Shipping was a little slow. I guess I expected slow shipping (2 weeks to ATL Georgia) from the price being so low. You get what you pay for. This was my experience. Yours might be different. Still I think three dollars was worth the risk.

As another reviewer stated, this item (purchased through Agent Frugal) does NOT fit the Zen Vision. Close, but about 1/8" too small. Must be for an iPod or something. Also, not that it matters since it doesn't work anyway, but it's black, not white. If you care.
