To observe, then tell, and at the same time get the point across to a wide range of society is hard enough. To paint these little essays against a beautiful background of modern suburbian life is awe-inspiring. Timmy Rogers has always been a master of the catchy tune, but the way this album's melodies and wordplay are married, you have to believe he is one of the most underrated songwriters of our time. It's as if the Who of '66, got collabaration from the Beach Boys, and were given lyrics from a young, Jam-led Paul Weller. It was three years ago that I first heard it, and I still cry at the sheer beauty of its simplicity and profoundness.

Picked this album up off Amazon after buying their Convicts album in HMV. This is so much better. Don't get me wrong Convicts is a great record but it was the first one of theirs I picked up. I now discover that they have all this back catalog for me to go through, I feel really lucky. Hourly,Daily was released 11 years ago. I've never heard it until today. Feels like it's been in my life for the past 11 years. Simply amazing. Looks like Amazon's gonna get more of my hard earned cash as I pick up the rest of these guys work. Trust me. It's that good.
