For the many still stunned by the recent accidental death of Paul Walker this movie will serve as a bit a comfort. In this low budget small cast film Walker demonstrate that he was capable of providing a fine dramatic performance with the addendum of fast cars and wild action that brought him to fame. Writer/director Eric Heisserer manages to make a film with big emotions confined to a hospital corridor and room, and given the presence of Paul Walker, it works.

We are transported to New Orleans August 23, 2005 - August 30, 2005 when Hurricane Katrina's devastation destroyed the lives of many. Nolan Hayes (Paul Walker) gets a call from his beloved wife Abigail (Genesis Rodriquez) that she is going into early labor and is being taken by ambulance to the hospital. Nolan rushes to the hospital even as the hurricane winds and waters are destroying New Orleans and learns from the doctor (Yohance Myles) that his newborn baby girl is on a respirator and that his wife died. At first Nolan is in such grief over Abigail's death that he doesn't even want to see his new daughter, but when the doctor shows him the newborn in an incubator with O2 and IVs in a private room, Nolan realizes he is the only hope his baby has. Multiple flashbacks to the happy and carefree married life of the couple are focused as Nolan places mementos on the incubator lid. As the hurricane intensifies, the hospital is evacuated until it is just Nolan and his daughter and no power...except a hand crank generator. Nolan must turn the hand crank every three minutes or else his daughter will die. As the hours take their toll, Nolan fast and furiously attempts to get help, power, food, IVs, etc. in three minute intervals.

I am huge Paul Walker fan, but even if I weren't I would be after this performance. Absolutely incredible and compelling! If you can watch that very last scene without tears in your eyes, there's something wrong with you....Well done, Mr. Walker!! Thank you for leaving us this amazing piece of you. RIP

I'm a huge fan of Paul Walker and was saddened by his untimely death. Hours shows what a great actor he could've been , and he practically carries the movie by himself .This movie proves that Walker is not just a good looking actor and that there's more to his acting than driving fast cars.I highly recommend this movie to anyone who is a fan of Paul Walker . The last scene will make you shed few tears for this young actor who lost his life tragically.

This movie I get five stars. This was one of Paul's best movies by far. It's nothing like his Fast and Furious movies that is for sure and if you can watch this with out crying you most likely don't have a heart or soul. I have to say this movie is pretty much him in the hospital with a baby and no one else my husband hates those kinds of movies and he would rather watch Fast and Furious however, he LOVED this movie. He is telling everyone about it! That has to say something. If Paul was alive today I believe we would be seeing a whole another side of him with the movies he would be making. Thank You so much Paul Walker for touching our lives in away you will never know you were such a wonderful man! RIP

You would have to be not human for this movie not to touch you in some way. The amount of work Paul Walker's character, Nolan, put into saving his daughter, the raw emotion and exhaustion behind it all felt so real. RIP Paul Walker. This movie definitely proves your worth as the amazing actor you were.

I enjoy "disaster" movies, but this is not in that genre. This is a drama, the story of a man who loves his family and what he will do to protect them. I laughed a little, and cried a lot, and loved every moment of the film.

The gritty reality of the subject matter - Hurricane Katrina - is going to be tough emotionally for some viewers. But the reality of the setting lends the extra bit of reality to the characters and the emotions, and allows the viewer to really connect.

I thought this was a well thought out premise. Paul's acting was superb! The movie brought me through so many emotions, from smiling, with a warmth inside, to tears, and udder surprise. Definitely a must see for Paul Walker fans! Watched it twice, and have plans to purchase it when it comes out on DVD!
