5.0 out of 5 stars Very helpful book!, November 6, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: 24 Hours to Your Next Job, Raise, or Promotion (Career Coach Series) (Paperback)
After graduating from college, I must have read at least 3 or 4 books about finding a job, and looked all over the internet for anything I could get my hands on. Finally, I decided to see if there was anything else out there, and I found this book. I got the very next job I applied for after reading her book! It had lots of useful, easy to use advice on how to succeed in the interview (although if you want tips on resumes or cover letters, you have to buy one of her other books). I very highly recommend this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Inspiring and Motivating..!!, November 1, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: 24 Hours to Your Next Job, Raise, or Promotion (Career Coach Series) (Paperback)
She has such an inspiring way of stimulating people to get motivated, this book has really got not just the technique of dealing with your current and future career, but also the philosophy of career itself towards you and your environment.
If you have read and you are so in such a low and lousy motivation, re-read again, and you feel alive!

I enjoyed reading this book for its many tips on job hunting. The ways the author shows how to highlight skills, set proper goals, and match applicant skills with employer needs are especially helpful. To get going quickly on a job search this is a fine book to incorpoate into your library of tools.
