5.0 out of 5 stars Shock Schlock Rocks!
Rob Zombie chops and grinds bloody chunks of hard rock and, along with trimmings from the film's dialogue track and some classic chestnuts from the Ramones to Buck Owens, churns out a glorious slurry solidified as another classic slab o'Zombie.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great Album... Won't burn to CD..
I love this soundtrack, but for the life of me, I can't burn a CD of the MP3 Download.. I've tried an MP3 CD and it FAILED. I tried it as an AAC and it Failed. I even tried to copy the original content from my Amazon folder to a blank disc and then burnt the disk, and it sounds like it's constantly skipping... Maybe some type of built in security setting, but it does...

5.0 out of 5 stars Shock Schlock Rocks!, April 2, 2003
This review is from: House of 1000 Corpses (Audio CD)
Rob Zombie chops and grinds bloody chunks of hard rock and, along with trimmings from the film's dialogue track and some classic chestnuts from the Ramones to Buck Owens, churns out a glorious slurry solidified as another classic slab o'Zombie.

In terms of "new" material, there are four winning tracks from Zombie himself; "Everybody Scream!," "Run, Rabbit, Run," "Little Piggy" and "Pussy Liquor." All four are on par with anything Zombie has released previously and stomp and sledgehammer the senses in the fashion to which we've become accustomed. The other Zombie composition is the title track, previously previewed on THE SINISTER URGE.

One of the better soundtracks to come along in a long, long while in that it got this listener especially excited for the film - if it's half as good as the album, it's got to be great (of course, that's what they said about EMPIRE RECORDS....)

This is one of the, if not the best, soundtracks ever. I mean, I have never seen another soundtrack with: new songs, old songs, orchestra type stuff, and clips from the movie. The songs are also so great.

(3). Saddle Up The Mule-funny clip with Captain Spaulding
(4). Everybody Scream-theme from Dr. Wolfenstein's show
(5). Stuck In The Mud-orchestra type thing
(6). Holy Miss Moly-clip with Otis
(7). Who's Gonna Mow Your Grass?-ummm...no
(8). Run, Rabbit, Run-good rock song by Master Zombie
(9). Into The Pit- " from #5
(10). Something for You Men-Intro to #11
(11). I Wanna Be Loved By You-evry1 knos this song
(12). P*ssy Liquor-"B-A-B-Y" Whats that spell? BABY
(13). Scarecrow Attack-" from #5
(14). My Baby Boy-Mother Firefly talkin bout Tiny
(15). Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue-Well, if u like Ramones
(16). Investigation & Smokehouse-" from #5

(17). The Bigger The Cushion-Spaaulding talkin bout gurls
(18). I Remember You-ummm...no
(19). Drive Out the Rabbit-SHERI, ALL HAIL SHERI
(20). Mary's Escape-" from #5
(21). Little Piggy-My fav song on the CD
(22). Aint the Only Thing Tasty-ahahaha DIE! ahahahaha
(23). Dr. Satan-The BOOGIEMAN

5.0 out of 5 stars Rob Zombie at his best, November 4, 2005

I purchased the CD on a whim, likely the movie and rob zombie. But this cd surpasses all of the other soundtracks to movies. Rob Zombie really out do's himself with creepy lyrics and ghostly noises. The short movie quotes in between a few of the songs, also added charcter. It also includes a Ramones track, " Now I wanna sniff some glue," which flowed well with the metal tone of Rob Zombie. All in all, I listen to this CD all the time and enjoy it more than I ever thought I would. A great buy.

Well, this is the soundtrack to the most anticipated horror movie ever, and I must say it is a great one. The cd is a mix of Rob ZOmbie music, creepy instrumentals, old time music and quotes from the movie. Buy it right now, and then listen to it religiously for a year...

4.0 out of 5 stars Zombie A Go-Go..., April 9, 2003
By

Have yet to see the movie, but the soundtrack is very enjoyable. Very cool how soundbites from the flick are interlaced w/ the music, which includes everything from Slim Whitman, to new tracks by Rob that are awesome. The music is Zombie all the way, and you can see some of his influences for the movie just by listening to the disc. They range from Texas Chainsaw Massacre, to all the classic cult horror movies of the modern era. If you know horror you'll pick it up right away. Rob Zombie has probably made one of the scariest movies ever produced.

5.0 out of 5 stars With a vibe & style you can't hide from for long., July 3, 2005
This review is from: House of 1000 Corpses (Audio CD)
Mr. Zombie, as usual, hints on psychotic perfection with this great release. Because he delivers such great projects, he has and will remain my favorite artist. I'm looking forward to what he has to offer next.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best soundtrack ever!, May 29, 2005
This review is from: House of 1000 Corpses (Audio CD)
This is one of the most intesting soundtracks ever done for a movie. I love that Rob Zombie included music that is not only not his own but also very different from his own. I love Rob and his music but I think he will go far with Movies and Soundtracks as well, he is very open minded and has a great sense of music in it's place no matter what style. Everyone should own this CD.

4.0 out of 5 stars I enjoyed the soundtrack AND the movie, April 18, 2003
This review is from: House of 1000 Corpses (Audio CD)
Most people are saying the movie is bad, but I highly enjoyed it. The cinematography is very very very kool. The soundtrack is fun. key points of the movie are intermingled with the songs. Very kool and fun CD. a must have for metal fans (especially zombie fans).
