This book is awesome! I will never have to buy another home improvement/interior design book ever again. The designs are contemporary as well as classic. There are even instructions to build furniture, make your own bedspreads, and hordes of other interesting design projects.

I recently picked up this book and I am amazed at my investment! There are more than 1,000 pages of color pictures, projects and ideas for anyone that is looking to decorate their home the Do-It-Yourself way. From selecting colors to adding the finishing touches, this book not only gives ideas, it shows you how to complete the projects as well. This is the best book that I have found for home decorating and remodeling; and it has something for everyone reguardless of style or skill level.

I used to own this book... bought it quite a few years ago. But, moving from place to place through the years, somehow I lost it. Sought out to replace it, and am SO thankful it was available here through Amazon. Just an awesome do-it-yourself with theory and a straight-forward how-to on simple yet effective design ideas.
