Alright, here's the short version.

Apparently they have this thing set up to mimic an arcade game...except it's worse.

Maybe I'm doing it wrong or something--that's possible...but I've been on it an hour and see no variation from what I've discovered. Now, you are probably wondering '...what is oldtechno yacking about?'

Good question...here's the answer;

I start the game (as soon as I figure out how--use the enter key). I'm dropped in front of three or four zombie types. I tried to step back ( I can't) I tried to move aside left and right (nope can't move there either)...CHARGE! ??? (nope, can't move at all.

HU!!!

I have a default shotgun (automatic reload). I can't find a target retical (it's over in the bottom right and is a dull red retical--hard to see...nor does it move right) I can't get it to move up and down/up/left/right like 'we' normally do a gun retical.

All in all----I can't do 'anything'!

So, I figure 'oldtechno...it's your fault...it's something you haven't done right--there is another version of this same program game on this disk YOU have the one for ten year old fan boys.

Sure, that's it...Ha ha ha. I reallly didn't spend 18 dollars on a program that was beat out by other games made twenty years ago. Na, that wouldn't happen to oldtechno ... would it?

Alright seriously, if I could just get control of movement it would be different...I don't mind dated graphics (Freelancer and Halo are my favorite games) but I would at least expect movement capabilities. It's like doing a 'drive buy shooting'. (your car suddenly stops, you fire your shotgun 3 to 23 times and somebody else drives you to another location where they stop and you fire your gun 3 to 23 times...repeat...repeat...diddo...repeat.

So...why the two stars? Well, they did give out minimal system requirments--this means they aren't trying to rob me like most of them are......well, doesn't it?

Next day update; That's what I get for not re-reading the 'sale' page. I did yesterday about ten minutes after I posted this review--too late to edit it, so I did that today. (They didn't give minimal requirements--I thought they did...so now it's just one star.).

Anyway...I doubt even a fan boy would disagree with me.

Edit; Nov. 23

Because of Mark (setting me straight about 'lite guns', I bumpted the program up, and removed the BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK sign at the bottom of the first review--Thanks Mark.

Update, 1,25, 2011 I pushed the star rating to five stars...Mark was right, oldtechno was wrong. Just becaue I don't like the game doesn't mean it isn't a fine game.
