This MC is without a doubt the illest contribution to the hip hop scene since KRS-ONE. Here is an artist that is brave enough to be a leader and not buy into the sterotypes of many hiphop artists on the scene today. House Of Funk proves to be one of the most well produced and encouraging CD's I've heard in the longest time from an independant artist. If you haven't heard of him... you will soon enough, and that's a bonafide guarantee!

MC Overlord is a prime example of the direction that hip hop should be focused. This is a CD packed with valuable insight that an entire generation could learn from. He deserves to be on top and I believe he will be one day very soon!

I've known the talented kid from St. Louis since 1986, even then his talent was evident(SO SPECIAL!), there are so called major super star Rappers on the scene who do not have an ounce of the talent that this kid have, his album House Of Funk is a Master Piece, i say to the MC OVERLORD, GOD Bless,...& don't ever stop giving the world a taste of your special gift !

The very soul of an artist can be explored when you feel and identify with their message. That's what I learned from listening to this magnificent underground MC that hails from Austin TX. This CD is a journey of truth and a soul that is real with the hiphop game. When his time comes...and it will come, there will be a light of hope for the youth who live for this music and culture as I know I do.

I was begining to wonder if there were any rap artists out there with the vision of MC OVERLORD. I had never heard of this group but I can't wait to hear more! People from my neck of the woods don't believe brothers sayin' the right things can be heard but I'm puttin' my two cents in and saying out loud "We hear ya kid!"

In House of Funk, MC Overlord has created an album that crosses the lines. The appeal of his positive message, the heartfelt lyrics, and the driving funk music alternated with the softer instrumentals is universal. Everyone that has heard the CD has asked me where they can get a copy. The world is in for a treat when he makes it to the top and it is coming soon!

I have seen MC OVERLORD on many occassions live, and for the first time I feel he has released a CD that captures the feel and perspective of the live show. This is notorious work for an artist that is certain to to take the world by surprise when he is finally discovered. House of Funk is a tremendous effort. This kid is comin' up!

MC OVERLORD crosses over to several genres and should be playing in front of huge audiences.....his time is due to come.
