This book is an excellent resource. Ms. Light's work has helped me decipher old documents related to our house, helped me figure out what was original and what was added on and solve a few mysteries as well. Highly recommended!

This book was exactly what we needed to help us fill the gaps in the history of an old house we recently acquired. We were told about it by a newspaper editor when she interviewed us regarding a fire in the 1690 house last month (intentionally set....no insurance). We're trying to save it with grants from any Preservation Society or funding available, so the more info we have, the better our chances.
The book is in great condition and was delivered very quickly!

Excellent book as a resource for old homes. So much great information. The only problem is that it covers so much information, it's hard to get specific information for a specific type home.
