Trews: a Canadian secret?,
This review is from: House of Ill Fame (Audio CD)
I first saw these guys on the CBC show ">Play" hosted by Jian Ghomeshi... they rocked! I finally got around to getting the CD - which is, so far, essentially unknown in the U.S. - I'm happy the Trews are doing well in Canada but I hope the news get south sometime soon! As other reviewers have said, this CD is one of those rare "no filler" issues... all good and some great tracks, with no junk.

Rock with a captial ROCK!,

This is the best album I have gotten my hands on in years. Every track is great, and the more you listen to it, the better it gets. The music has energy, emotion, and killer riffs. If pop music is putting you to sleep, buy this album and WAKE UP!

Great new band.,

Unlike most groups I hear nowadays with absolutely boring, monotonous, repetitive tracks with possibly one or two good tracks per CD, this is different. The songs are catchy, energetic, not to mention the lead singer does one hell of a job.My favourite tracks are Every Inambition, Not Ready to Go, Hopeless and Black Halo, but they're all good. Give this CD a listen and decide for yourselves. Canadian music rules!
