It isn't New year yet, but I got calendar with face of my favorite actor Mr. Hugh Laurie and I'm very happy about that. Great!!!

Huge disappointment. Besides the cover, there is only one full head-shot of Dr. House in the whole calendar. One month features Kutner, the character who died last season. Other months feature Thirteen and Taub, and it's not even clear so far if they are still in the cast in Season 6. This seems to be a bunch of still photos left over from last year. Not a good omen for 2010!

Very pretty images. Much nicer than 2009. Quotes and snippets abound.

Best part, the calendar half is printed in black on a cream-coloured ECG strip background, so you can actually read the dates from a few feet away! Yay!

Despite my room being space themed. I do so love to watch House MD. I was excited when this came out. And it is not a disappointing calendar. Not really meant for younger fans though. But that shouldn't surprise House fans (language wise).

My 22-year-old daughter loved this gift. The only thing that would make it better is if House's photos were attached to every month! I bet she'll have January posted every month of 2010!

Jeez... Out of 12 photos, only 1 has a large photo of Hugh Laurie, and even that one is not even 'looking' at the viewer. 11 out of 12 months - no Greg House.

Did Universal use the cheapest photos available?

Did the other actors complain that their photos were only small insets in last year's calendar?

Well, it IS called HOUSE, MD! The one reason people watch the show is Hugh Laurie. Not Omar Epps, not Olivia Wilde, and not Robert Sean Leonard can possibly carry the show. You won't sell more calendars by including the other actors' pictures. Not enough fans.

So- a House MD calendar with only ONE photo of Hugh Laurie out of 12 months is absurd. It's like ordering a ham sandwich, and getting a measly thin slice of ham hidden under mounds of lettuce, tomato and pickles. Technically it contains ham, but it shouldn't be called a 'HAM' sandwich.

Guess I'll be using only the outside cover page of Hugh Laurie. And not buying the calendar next year. I'll be making my own, unless the publisher gets back with the program.

Come on now, Universal/LLC Andrews McMeel Publishing - I know "Everybody Lies"; just don't lie to us again next year.
