5.0 out of 5 stars A Gratifying Discovery, April 21, 1999

This review is from: House Marik: The Free Worlds League (Battletech) (Paperback)
The most difficult of the five books in this series to locate by far, this sourcebook will not disappoint those Battletech fans that have made an effort to find it. Even though FASA has recently published the FWL Field Manual, it is only in the House Marik sourcebook that an extensive examination of the Free Worlds League, including its history, its society, and its fascinating political structure, can be found. Long the most mysterious of the Inner Sphere star empires (at least as regards its appearance in Battletech pulp fiction and scenarios), Marik and the FWL has become a true military powerhouse -- and only in the pages of this sourcebook can a historical and social context be provided for the curious (or avid) fan.
