SERIAL ONE, THE PHOKAIAN: Mnasidika of Sparta, adopted into the house of Athenaios, witnesses the goings on at a Symposium welcoming Peisandros, Athenaios' banished nephew, back into the family as a business partner. The welcome turns sour when Peisandros hints that his uncle is instead the responsible party for the murder that got him banished from Athens, and only welcomes him home now to ease his guilt. Athenaios and Isthia's plans for Dika's marriage are threatened when she meets the lovely Timas of Phokaia, an unexpected guest at the Symposium.
Award-winning 3D author and illustrator Pam Harrison has worked more than 15 years in the graphic design industry, starting from the ground up and learning a number of skills from advertising, graphics and website design, Illustrator and has more recently been noted for 3D illustration. In June 2008, she taught night classes in 3DStudio Max at her former college, Louisville Technical Institute.
From 2005-2006, Pam was a regular face on the OutinAmerica.com Cities Network, where she first made her name in gay and lesbian movie and book reviews, as well as landing her own weekly opinion column, "Speaking Of".
An aspiring comics artist since age 12, she eventually learned 3-D graphics, which became the basis for the illustrations in the published version of House of the Muses. Her connections at OIA soon landed her very first book review of House of the Muses in October 2007.
Her series has been reviewed favorably worldwide in Brazil, Germany, the Netherlands, the UK and New Zealand. She has made a number of guest appearances on TalkShoe podcast radio interviews, which can be accessed and enjoyed at her website, http://houseofthemuses.com. In March, 2009, her House of the Muses graphic novels were the recipient of the Prism Comics Queer Press Grant award for outstanding new series.
