5.0 out of 5 stars HOUSE OF YES March 8, 2007
By t'amant
Format:Audio CD
This rocks, they do a great job and the sound quality is very fine for live. This should help you better appreciate The Ladder album (Homeworld sounds incredible) and the many great oldies jammed out - Songs like Awaken, And You & I and Perpetual Change on here are done wonderfully. Is there a better opening song than Yours Is No Disgrace? The WHOLE concert is great (I have nearly everything YES has released and have been a fan for over 30 years). Get the dvd at least if you don't want the cd - FUN CONCERT! Listen on a good system if you want to hear the quality. Long "LIVE" YES ...

5.0 out of 5 stars The best Yes live album so far ! IMHO November 30, 2012
Format:Audio CD
Personally I do not want to dismiss "Yessongs" or "Yesshows" neither "90125 live", but the balance between the classic Yes and the new one (I am referring to the line up in those days; line up that was very important in not letting the band died or remained only as an autotribute group in the last half of the 90's) is simply perfect.

The tracklist is great, although the actual venue also included "Hearts" and "Close to the Edge", these tracks were skipped from the mixing of the whole album

You will hear a very organic sound: every one will be playing flawlessly their parts.

A more colaborative work is made by Howe and Sherwood, more than the previous "Open your Eyes" tour.

Off course, Steve is the lead guitar, but Billy isn't limited to only rythm guitars or a plain second guitar. He provides an excelent wallsound to the classic songs and he has his highlights in tunes like: "The Messenger", "Cinema" "Lighting Strikes" and "Owner of a lonely heart"

Anderson's voice is fresh ! Squire's bass outstanding and with his unique trademark. White's drumms sounds as always like a thunder ! and Khoroshev blends the best of the Kaye-Wakeman era (he was a very good keyboard player for the band at that time)

I think this can summarize my insights about this gig at The House of Blues (Las Vegas), back in 1999 on a Halloween Night.

Try to get the video also of this concert which is available for order.

I hope this review helped you!

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredibly Cool Progressive Rock February 13, 2009
Format:Audio CD
I've never been what you'd consider a "hard core" Yes fan. But WOW, I sure am now. I can't speak knowledgeably about the history of the band or wax poetic about progressive rock in general. But I definitely think that this ranks among one of the best live albums I have ever heard. The music is just fantastic: artistic, thoughtful and "jammin" all at the same time. The sound quality is also superb. If you are a fan of progressive rock or a fan of thoughtful and complex music, you will LOVE this CD.

5.0 out of 5 stars Yes House of Blues is a decent live album April 11, 2009
Format:Audio CD
This album, Yes live from the house of blues is a decent album. Some of the sound could be better but Yes rarely fails to please in a live show. I saw Yes at the Louisville Palace early in 2009 and they still rock with the best of them. Yes does not disappoint. You will like it.

This album really stinks because of a very low bass level from Squire. Buy yessongs or keys to ascention 1.
