This review is from: Urology (House Officer Series) (Paperback)
Absolutely outstanding book. Pocket size, easily referenced. If you are about to start a case and need to learn just about everything you would need to know, you can do so in about 2-3 pages of quick reading.

What A Great Book!,

This review is from: Urology (House Officer Series) (Paperback)
This remains the premier urologic manual for medical students, nurses, and first year urology residents. It would be nice if the next edition contained a chapter on infertilty and had a few blank pages at the end of each chapter for notes.

This review is from: House Officer Urology (House Officer)(4th Edition) (Paperback)
This is a very easy reading general urology handbook that really is aimed at medical students and house officers (interns) who are NOT going to specialize in urology. This will cover most common presentations that may be seen by the general house officer and how to manage them. In addition, it provides information on the most common disease processes in urology (cancers, stones, infections etc) that is a nice introduction to each pathology. This section is great for primary care practitioners and non urology folk. This is also a great intro for medical students to read prior to and during a urology rotation. Gunner medical students may benefit further from penn clinical manual or pocket guide to urology, both of these texts go far above and beyond the scope of this book. Overall, recommended!
