I have nearly everything Migs has released and this is one of the funkiest, ass-shaking mixes I've got recently. Not so deep in what you'd expect but change is good and it's OUTSTANDING!! This is turning into a favorite of mine since the Nude Dimensions Vol 1 disc.

I'm a huge fan of Miguel Migs, I don't think there is enough smooth, warm-sounding, house music and Migs never lets me down in mixing out new tracks that are just that. To the person who wanted music samples, go to the omrecords website. (www.omrecords.com) You can listen to samples there and decide whether or not you want to buy.

This is the first installment of Miguel Migs on his own record label. This music is awesome. His selection of songs are jazzy (track1) saxophone is just great. This mix is the hottest mix and the best ever that Miguel migs has performed.He has a groove that is just unstoppable. Don't hesitiate to get this today!!!!

I bought this release for a pure funky deep house romp. And I got what I was looking for. The record also has a little bit more variety than just a pure house record. This was an added bonus. Miguel adds some of his tracks and also selected some key tracks from amazing producers that helped fill out the entire mix. Miguel did a great job compiling and mixing this album. I also purchased this other album which Miguel appears on called,

San Francisco under a groove. This record is also really nice and offers a more funky downbeat look at the electronica scene in sf. But, the disc ends on a high note with some kicking dub and funk deep house.

Miguel Migs is by far one of the greatest DJ's I've ever heard or have seen live. His mixing style is unmatched and this cd does not differ. This cd features a much funkier mood but still retains Mig's deep signature. Its also very upbeat and gets you dancing by Track 3. Every song stands out to me and when I first heard it I was amazed at the song selection. This is very much a departure from the Nude-series, but it stays along the lines with 24th St. Sounds. This is also great introduction cd to House as well for first-timers it has a lot of different types of subgenres, including some disco from The Sunburst Band. All I have to say is see Migs live, no cd can beat it. But if you can't then this CD is a must have, even if you haven't heard him before.

This is a nice deep house production. If you like this, check out the first full length CD for producer Quentin Allen as Karu. There are other 12" releases on Silver Network, Dadhouse, Winding Road, Mimosa & Smooth Agent. This CD is a very consistant production with a good blend of jazz, hip-hop, techno, neo-soul, and deep house all together. The beats are very crisp and sound good in the car, the house or the club. Some songs tastefully use vocal snippets to add flavor. There is even a track featuring Warren Harris aka Hanna (Shadow Records, Silver Network, Flat & Round, Freerange). If you want good quality deep house, this CD is for you.

This a great CD that you can listen to over and over again. It's chill yet it still can get you excited while driving in the bay area traffic!

I really like some of Migs' earlier stuff so, I was excited when I picked this up. Man, I just don't see what's so interesting, or what those that gave this 5 stars see, in hearing the same boring electronic drum beat go on throughout 4, 5 or, 6 cuts! Just when you think it's about to stop it picks up again. I find myself waiting for to be over, or wishing I could lift it off the recording so I could listen to the music behind it. Some of Migs' stuff sits in my player for weeks. I listen to it over and over and, never get bored. With this CD, I wish I could return it.

for walking. I'm glad I was able to locate it on Amazon. Thank you

Most CDs I buy have one or two songs on it I like, this one serves up some fierce and funky beats from start to finish.
