This movie is funny and relaxing. It really puts you bcak in the day when everything was just alright. Watch this movie and "roll" with Kid 'n' Play! And if you love Martin Lawrence then you will love this movie. House Party 1 and 3 are also recommended.

This movie was disappointing, although not a total washout. Martin Lawrence as Bilal still made me laugh, but some of the scenes had recycled jokes and even preachy tones. The scenes where Kamron (of Young Black Teenagers) as Jamal, a white kid who talks black, shows up were so gimmicky it was scary. But one funny scene was when the party was hopping from apartment to apartment while Boyz II Men's "Motownphilly" was playing in the background. Still, all of the best jokes were given away in the trailers, and they weren't even all that funny. The following two sequels are even worse, so just stick with the first House Party.

I have been a Kid n' Play fan since i was about 9 years old and i grew up with them. The way they would put there music into effect was awesome. Now a days all you here is gangsta rap about death and destruction. On another tip Kid n' Play would cheer about how good of a time you could have without getting high or killing. So Kid n' Play to me will never be oldschool or played out.

If you loved part 1 of House Party, you may love part 2. It was a great movie to watch.

House Party 2 doesn't live up to the first film but it's still a funny film. While the charcters haven't grown much since the first film Kid is still head strong and Play is still a lothario, the film does expand Martin Lawerence's part and features a cameos by Ralph Tresvant and Tony Toni Tone. If you want harmless fun check this one out.

Like most sequels, this one pales in comparison to the original. It's still entertaining, but gets bogged down with heavy-handed social messages at every turn. The first movie was so good because it was all about fun. This one seems to be little more than a social commentary with a gratuitous party thrown in.

I think that the very fact that Martin Lawrence is in the film , that it is already worth watching. When i watch this film again and again, i always replay the sections where Kid 'n' Play are rappin, this ---- is good. Sometimes i feel that i'd swap my Snoop Dog cd for a kid 'n' Play cd if i had the chance.

I rate the three house party's as follows. There is nothing to say other than KidnPlay is a dynasty. All movies are worth owning. Maybe not #4.

1. Classic awesome

2. Best one

3. Funny As hell.

Bam! This movie is def. Word...word. If you haven't seen House Party and House Party III, this one is in the same genre of classic Kid N Play acting. Soon to be a classic in Afro-american cinematography.
