5.0 out of 5 stars This is it. This is the stuff., June 11, 2009
This review is from: House of Tsang Bangkok Peanut Sauce, 11.5-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 6) (Grocery)
I am absolutely in love with this peanut sauce. It's the best off-the-shelf peanut sauce I've ever tried, and I've tried a good number of them.

This is not a sweet sauce, though. It has a good, sharp spiciness to it without being overpowering. I will often use it to marinade chicken and beef for a few hours before grilling satay. The meat comes out flavorful, with a nice kick to it. What's left in the bottle can be used as a dipping sauce. Sometimes I will also put out a little dish of the sweeter, coconut-based peanut sauce for dipping as well. The tastes seem to mix well.

I have tried three satay chicken sauces over the past month. This one was the spiciest and best! But my fancy King's supermarket in Short Hills, NJ, sells this for $4.29 per 11.5 ounce bottle.

5.0 out of 5 stars Restaurant Quality!, March 8, 2011
This review is from: House of Tsang Bangkok Peanut Sauce, 11.5-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 6) (Grocery)
This sauce is better than you can get at most Thai places, and by far the best off the shelf. It is very versatile, and can come in handy when using up left overs. For example, tonight I reheated some left over noodles, mixed vegetables, scrambled and egg and topped all of it with the sauce. It was a really nice meal in under 5 minutes. It is good with tofu, vegetables, noodles, spring rolls, etc.

5.0 out of 5 stars Add Noodles and Serve, January 16, 2011

Cook up a package of Black Forest Girl Spaetzle, add the HOT Sauce, and you have a great and very easy "schezwan noodle" dish that'll rival your favorite restaurant's version.

5.0 out of 5 stars Thank you Brugger's!, January 1, 2011
This review is from: House of Tsang Bangkok Peanut Sauce, 11.5-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 6) (Grocery)
This is the sauce that gives me the unbelieveable craving for a Thai Chicken bagel sandwich with peanut sauce. Just thinking and talking about it makes my mouth water!! I have to thank a wonderful employee at one of my local Brugger's for putting to rest the mystery of the peanut sauce they use as it is one of the best I have ever had--and trust me I have tried a few, as well made some to try to replicate this very one.
After asking a few times at different sites, one very kind man helped out and ended my quest. Now I will have to stock my cupboards with this fabulous sauce and use it liberally. By the way, I have never been so passionate about food like this before--it's just that good.
Cheers to you my fellow peanut sauce junkie, make it a fabulous new year!

4.0 out of 5 stars DELICIOUS, August 6, 2009
This review is from: House of Tsang Bangkok Peanut Sauce, 11.5-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 6) (Grocery)
I bought this peanut sauce when I was craving a peanut pasta asian kinda dish. It definetly hit the craving. The sauce its self is very thick 9too thick for me) so I used some water to thin it out. You could also use coconut milk or water if you prefer.

The taste is great. Very strong peanut flavor and very spicy. I like spice so beware if you can not tolerate spicy food, this may be too much (although adding coconut milk tames it a bit).

Overall great sauce. The only one I found in the gerocery store. I wish they had more to chose from.

By far this is the best tasting peanut sauce I've ever had. I've found myself searching for recipes that call for peanut sauce just so I can have an excuse to use this more often. Once you try this you'll be hooked.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Thai Flavor!!! Just the best!!, January 10, 2010
This review is from: House of Tsang Bangkok Peanut Sauce, 11.5-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 6) (Grocery)
I have used this for quite a few years and LOVE this sauce. It ain't cheap, but it is SOOOOOOOO tasty! Simple recipe for tonight:

6-10 boneless skinless chicken breasts and 2 bottles of this sauce.

Pour sauce over breasts in a 9x13 or other baking dish. Cover, bake at 350 degrees for one hour and you're set. We serve this with rice and broccoli and use the sauce as a "gravy" on the whole plate of food.

The sauce is a smooth, spicy peanut sauce with a sesame undertone that is just fabulous. It is the best one we've tried, and you could add a little water or coconut milk, but it is about the "heat" of medium salsa, not super hot. You're gonna love it!
