This DVD packs alot of information everyone needs!, March 28, 2005
This review is from: My House Your House A Guide to Inspecting Your Home Purchase (DVD)
I am fairly new in the Home Inspection; buying Real Estate game and wondered how I can increase my knowledge about the homes I inspect and buy for investment. I ran across the above video accidently and thought I would try it out. After all; a two hour video has to contain some material; right! This guy does a two hour video on almost any item you can think of in a home; tells you what to look for and how. I've gained thousands of dollars worth of information for a very reasonable sum. I would say don't pass this one up if you are truly looking to gain insite into your investments. Best of all he has a check list in the last chapter of the DVD that you can print out and use on your own house hunting. Good Job!

My House, Your House was enlightening and entertaining!, July 28, 2004
This review is from: My House Your House A Guide to Inspecting Your Home Purchase (DVD)
After veiwing this DVD I don't feel quite so ignorant about home buying. I realize I still need a professional home inspector to inspect my house when I choose one to purchase, but now I feel like I know more and can weed out some of the houses with significant problems that would cost alot of time and money. Thanks Ken! There's a lot of info in this DVD. I'm sure I will reference often after my home purchase. You were easy to understand and a pleasure to follow around!

Review of video through the Library Journal, www.libraryjournal.com, November 6, 2006
This review is from: My House Your House A Guide to Inspecting Your Home Purchase (DVD)
My House, Your House: A Guide to Inspecting Your Home Purchase! Tabak who operates TBK Inspections llc in North Carolina takes the viewer through his process, beginning with building lot and exterior walls. He progresses to the roof, crawlspace, attic, and interior. His main tool is a powerful flashlight. The subject house is made of brick, with some aluminum siding on a low concrete block foundation, which is perhaps not typical enough. Tabak is thorough, explaining what to look for and why, but an overall assessment would also have been helpful. He does note the need of various repairs that would lower a buyers offer. During the first segment the camera operator stays on Tabak instead of showing walls and windows he is examining. All the same, this program contains valuable information for any home buyer at a very reasonable price. Recommended for public libraries. David r. Conn, Surrey P.L.B.C.

My House, Your House. A must have video!, June 6, 2006
This review is from: My House Your House A Guide to Inspecting Your Home Purchase (DVD)
After viewing this video I was amazed at how much I learned. There are many factors involved with a home inspection that I honestly feel most people are not aware of. This video is a complete home inspection from start to finish. All major systems of the home are covered and Ken takes the time to explain each section in easy to understand terms. I know it is sometimes hard to make an informed decesion just by reading an online review, but I can honestly say this video is excellent and well worth your money. My special thanks to Mr. Ken Tabak, job well done!
