A great Inventory,

This review is from: The Household Books of John Howard, Duke of Norfolk, 1462-1471, 1481-1483 (History/Prehistory and Medieval History) (Hardcover)
For anyone interested in the household accounts of a great medieval household, then I highly recommend that you attempt to lay hands on this book. Originally released as a multi-volume set, it was re-released in a single volume format.
This book is very worth while for anyone interested in the Wars of the Roses. It contains many details such as expenses pertaining to armour purchases, clothing expenses, references to different types of clothe that was purchased, spices and more. The only issue that I had with this book was that it is very difficult to read due to the size of the text. In order to make it more affordable, they have place for folio on each page. The type is between 4 to 6 points in size, sometimes in italics.
