I am so glad that I broke down and finally bought my last ironing board ever. It's light, easy to adjust the height and fully collapse to put away if necessary. It's wide enough to make ironing speed up the process of ironing while listening to my favorite radio program. My old board was heavy to move, clumsy to adjust and not easy to fully collapse and tuck away.

This Households Essentials ironing board is as advertised--light-weight but sturdy, good quality cover, handy iron rest on the back, and easy to store when not in use. I put up with my old flimsy, rickety, thin-covered cheap ironing board for decades before I broke down and bought this product. It was money well spent.

In the past 8 months I have used this ironing board 4 times, each time folding it away. The top has bent in the middle (it is plastic and not aluminum). I am very unhappy with it and now can only return it for a partial refund, and I must pay shipping.
